We are often asked about our band's name and its meaning to us. I think this song is the answer to these questions and it shows our attitude to the very idea of "smuta", which is atemporal and not related to any historic events like the "Time of Troubles", as I told before. Smuta is extremely hard times in the history of our and not only our Motherland, whether it is 10th, 17th, 20th or 21st century, the times of pain, suffering, spite, permissiveness and anarchy.
