Эй! Ты звезда путеводная,
Ты меня ведешь - яркий в небе свет.
По родной земле волны быстрых рек
Да паутина лесных троп.
Здесь теперь мой дом, кров мой и стол,
Под тенью елей мой ночлег.
Встречу я рассвет,
Голос лесных дев звоном ручья прогонит сон.

Ты веди меня за утром вслед!
От ночи остался сумрак - след.
По траве стелится туман.
День встречает прохладою обняв.

Путь мой пыль дорог - бурьяном занемог,
Шрамами оврагов весь покрыт.
Чащи, бурелом.
Мимо лесных троп по следу зверя путь мой лежит.
Запах лесных трав, да тень дубрав
Радость и покой приносят мне.
Дом мой был сожжен кочевой ордой,
В памяти пожар пламя до небес.

Я еще вернусь за первым снегом вслед,
Кровью врагов его окрашу в алый цвет.
До боли в руке рукоять ножа
Сжимаю, дом родной в памяти храня.
